The Practice
Each session is different. Not because there is no framework — but because the framework serves the moment, not the other way around.
Through training and practice, I’ve developed a working understanding of how different bowls affect the nervous system — which create grounding and regulation, which open and expand, which activate and transform. That knowledge shapes every session. What can’t be planned is how it unfolds — what the space needs, what the people in it are carrying, what wants to be heard.
Structure and intuition. Both matter.
I’ve spent time studying the structure of sound — frequency, resonance, overtones, psychoacoustics, and how the nervous system responds to what it hears. But at some point, it becomes less about knowing and more about listening.
What guides each journey:

At Villa Sol and beyond, each session is shaped by the space, the people present, and what is unfolding in the moment—rather than a fixed structure or sequence.
There are several ways to engage, depending on what feels right for you.
• Private Sound Journey — A personalized session for deep rest, clarity, or emotional processing. 1:1 or couples.
• Intimate Group Journey — Small group immersions for 2–10 guests. Collective stillness.
• Retreat Collaboration — Sound woven into multi-day retreat programming.
• Curated or Off-Site Experiences — Available for special events and select off-property experiences.

Suzette’s journey into sound began not in a studio, but in ceremony — in the Peruvian jungle in 2015, and deepened through years of living at the intersection of intention, nature, and inner listening.
In February 2025, she attended her first sound healing workshop and left knowing she wanted bowls of her own. By February 2026, a full family of eight Crystal Tones® Alchemy bowls had gathered around her — all of them, unmistakably, oriented around the heart.
She is a registered Crystal Tones® Temple Partner and a Harmonic Life Partner. Her sessions are intuitive, ceremonial in spirit, and shaped entirely by what’s present in the room.

In May 2026, Suzette completed the Three-Day Intensive Sound Healing Training with the Sound Medicine Academy in New York — earning the formal qualification of Sound Healing Arts Facilitator. The training deepened her foundation in music theory, psychoacoustics, resonance, and the relationship between sound, the nervous system, and the body. She is currently completing an additional 200-hour online certification through the Sound Medicine Academy. She has since expanded her instrument collection to include a Himalayan singing bowl, used for vibroacoustic and hands-on sound work.
Sound journeys are offered at Villa Sol on the Sunshine Coast of BC, and in La Paz, BCS Mexico — where Suzette also makes her home. She also travels to host sessions and events in other locations.
